June 3 is the Full Strawberry Moon. Let’s hope for a cloud-free Saturday night to get a spectacular view of of the moon Full Moon Watch.
Celebrations in June
June 14 is Flag Day and commemorates the adoption of the flag on June 14, 1777.
June 16 is Father’s Day honoring all fathers, grandfathers and father figures.
June 17 is Juneteenth, an annual commemoration of the end of slavery in the U.S. after the Civil War. It has been celebrated by African Americans since the late 1800s.
